2021?! Happy New Year!
Welcome Friend!
Happy New Year everyone! We pray you had a restful break and wonderful family time during this holiday season.
The start of the new year is always a great time to reflect on the previous year and reboot for the upcoming year. For this episode, we’ll be sharing some brief sentiments on 2020, how Advent was celebrated in our homes, and some exciting projects, hopes and dreams for the year ahead.
We had a wonderfully refreshing break, but now we’re happy to be back with you for the rest of the season!
Because of grace,
Erika, Mariana, Simone, and Min
Quotes & Notes
“There is no great loss without some gain.” ~Ma Ingalls, On the Banks of Plum Creek
“Analogy comes to mind….This past year, I learned how to cultivate orchids…Before that, orchids would just die on me. I didn’t know how to keep them alive. Someone showed me I was watering them too much…They do better when they are in a confined space so their roots are not loosened everywhere…forced to be in a confined space…and where they’re not sitting in water. They have to be relatively dry. I feel like an orchid…In a very strange way, I feel like I started to bloom when I was put in this confined space in a seemingly dry condition. But the dryness was what I needed so my roots don’t get moldy. Low and behold, that’s when the orchid blooms so that’s how I felt God used 2020 for me in my life. And I’ve learned so many things.” ~Min Hwang
