“Titi”- endearing term in Spanish for “auntie” commonly used in Puerto Rico)

“Boricua”- a person from Puerto Rico by birth or descent that’s derived from the Taíno name the island: “Boriquén”. (Taínos were the indigenous people of the Caribbean.)

“Recao”- (culantro) sawtoothed low-growing pungent green herb widely employed in Caribbean, Latin American, and Southeast Asian cooking.
