"The Many Beautiful Faces of CM Mamas Series"
Episode 27: Honoring Family Traditions
in Your Homeschool
with SarahRuth Owens

Welcome Friend!

Welcome back to our “Many Faces of CM Mamas” series!

Join Mariana as she chats with our friend, SarahRuth, about the importance of honoring family traditions in the atmosphere of our homes and how SarahRuth honors her heritage as a Messianic Jew within her family culture.

Originally from NYC, SarahRuth is a former public school educator who wrote her final thesis on the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education. She is mom to three boys and an adventurer with her husband. Together, they enjoy the Appalachian mountains of Georgia where they reside.

We pray you will be encouraged!

Quotes & Notes

Principle 6: “When we say that “education is an atmosphere,” we do not mean that a child should be isolated in what may be called a ‘child-environment’ especially adapted and prepared, but that we should take into account the educational value of his natural home atmosphere, both as regards persons and things, and should let him live freely among his proper conditions. It stultifies a child to bring down his world to the child’s’ level.” (Volume 6)
